I would like to share with you the joys of having discovered Sterling Minerals Products as well as the superb customer service. Your mineral foundation truly is the best one on the market. I have tried BE, Everday Minerals, Jane Iredale, Pur, CoverFx and numerous others. I have a drawer dedicated to mineral foundations that either oxidized, irritated, or exacerbated my sensitive skin. I am cursed with eczema, mild rosacea and psoriasis. The latter being the most difficult to treat, soothe and conceal. Sterling minerals soothes and beautifully conceals my psoriasis and I don’t have to avoid going out in public anymore during a flare up. You personally spoke with me at length about using organic jojoba oil on the psoriasis patches. I used your Onati toner on those areas, applying it gently and while still damp applying the jojoba oil on top. I achieved spectacular results in about 4 days using the Onati toner, jojoba oil and gentle exfoliation every other night. The scaling was significantly reduced by 90%, and the angry red inflamed skin had drastically diminished.
Due to the flare up and lack of any foundation that would perform well and not further irritate my skin I had to miss a girls luncheon. I was able to attend the following week after following your advice. My friends thought I may have exaggerated the severity of my flare up and used it as an excuse not to go the prior week because as they said “you are not even wearing any foundation and your skin looks over fabulous”. I was wearing my Sterling Minerals foundation!
I have found that I can even put a dab of the jojoba oil over the the foundation during the day to keep the dry patches moist and it does not seem to affect the foundation finish. Also, your suggestion of using Fiorella to neutralize the mild rosacea on my cheeks worked beautifully. No more using the green primer under my foundation that left a Herman Munster grey pallor on my skin.

I just had to write this after what happened to me an hour ago. I was cleaning my bathroom, I do all my cleaning late at night into early morning because I work 6 nights a week answering emergency phone calls for a vet hospital in exchange for a break in my rent. I ran across an unopened BufPuf and thought I would wash my face and use this because I have enlarged pores on my nose and chin and thought maybe this would help get them a little clearer.
I must have really gone at it because when I sat down to put on my moisturizer by the time I got to the desk where the mirror is, my face was BURNING. Especially my cheeks where I am much drier. I tried some aloe vera gel, which helped for about 5 minutes and then it began burning again, I suddenly remembered I had some Evening Rose Veil in a sample from last year which I had used quite a few times at night when I had some break outs. Since your samples are so generous I had a bit left, also because with your products you don’t need much. I grabbed my chubby blender brush, put some Evening Veil in a saucer and started patting it on my face, within a few minutes the burning had completely stopped and the redness started dissipating. Which reminded me of two things, the last time I used a BE mineral brush, it stung, literally stung( it felt like needles) when I applied my foundation. I had washed my chubby blender that morning and it was still damp, not wet-wet but not completely dry either, but I got it anyway and instead of spraying it like I usually do I just used it damp and it worked great as usual. I tossed the BE just in case I grabbed it again by mistake.
The second thing is your chubby brush feels like velvet against the skin. I have no idea what it is made from but eventually I want to get one of each type. But I wanted to let you know about this, if anyone has any irritation from anything, they really should try the Evening Veil, it has a cooling sensation when you apply it and it stays. And you can apply your regular foundation on top of it. Would you do a post, if you haven’t already about your brushes? I am going to look and see if you already have done so and I missed it, but I keep all your newsletters in a file in my email program so I can reference back to them when I need to. I think the brush you use is so important, some don’t carry the foundation as well, some can be irritating, of course everyone is different and what works for one person may not for the next but if all your brushes are like the chubby, wow, like I said, velvet is the word that comes to mind!
I also wanted to tell you that because of you I am going to be the Meet and Greet person for the animal rescue I volunteer with ( Friends of Noah 501 c3) at 1PM today. We are having a Grand Reopening after having to close down last fall due to lack of funding. The woman who was supposed to do it has a problem with her back and is unable to attend, two weeks ago I would have said no when they asked me, but now that I have foundation (thanks to your generosity) and know I will make a good appearance I agreed to do it. We are having a Dog Easter Egg Hunt for a fundraiser, with a Blessing of the Animals, and this will make all the difference in getting some much needed cash to buy food, litter and be able to pay for spays and neuters and vaccines. “Eight months ago, I was struggling with horrible acne and was willing to try just about anything. I had visited the dermatologist, I had tried different OTC remedies and creams, and of course, I was trying different make-ups to make sure I wasn’t making things worse. I had been using Bare Minerals because it was “Pure enough to sleep in.” However, I had two problems with it.
There are undertones in my skin that make it incredibly difficult to get a true match. Most other mineral Make-ups are pretty limited in what foundations are available. I had settled on a ‘reasonably close’ match, but when you have to wear a lot to cover acne and scars, the discrepancy in color becomes very very obvious. My second problem was that I had been using Bare Minerals thinking that it was good for my skin, but it turns out that it contains Bismuth Oxychloride.

Keep in mind I was also using the medications from my dermatologist, but I had been doing that all along. I am of the personal opinion that the make-up I had been using previously had been working against me, and once I removed the problem the medications could do their job. Now, I don’t even use my prescriptions except for certain times in my cycle.

I just had to tell you how pleased I am with the results of your lip glaze. It left my lips moisturized and gave them some pop. I have thin lips so when I took your suggestion on adding a lip glaze over the top of my lipstick, it really worked. My lips looked FULLER! Plus the real bonus was the lip glaze was not slimy either. No sticky mess or getting my hair caught on my mouth. The wind really blows here in Chicago in the winter and it has been brutal on my lips. When wearing your lip colors, I noticed my lips aren’t chapped anymore and since I am able to keep them moisturized really well, I had fewer cold sores last winter.
Thanks so much for such a great product. I really love the deeper colors in the lip glaze since they give just enough color for enhancing my lipstick shades. I also look forward to the new lip pencils when they arrive.

Hi it’s me Melody from Albuquerque.
I wanted to give you an update on my use of your skin care line. I purchased the Honey Foaming Cleansing Gel, Perfect Balance Facial Toner and Calm & Refresh Face Cream. I told you prior I was going to wait to use all my proactive. Well I took it back, got my money back, and started on this line 3 weeks ago.
I have taken Pictures close up ugly pictures. I take one every week on same day of the week to see what change my face is making. I almost emailed you the second day to tell you I’m in love, but I didn’t want to jump the gun. Well it will be a month the first Friday of September and I’m still in love. Everyday my face is smoothing out, the little bumps are leaving day by day, my face is looking more and more like a baby’s butt instead of a greasy pizza. I love that when I called you, you never promised a miracle, you tell it like it is, and that is priceless.
I used proactive for ten years, yes it helped but only at first, after reading your blogs I saw why. It all makes perfect sense. My body wasn’t letting my face clear up because all the crap in proactive was keeping my face from doing it’s natural thing. I just turned 32 on August 23rd and I still can’t believe it took me all these years to find a AWESOME PRODUCT THAT DOES WHAT IT SAYS! If I ever meet you I’m gonna give you the biggest hug ever. I would be happy to send you the pictures from week to week I just want to wait till my face is all the way clear, I have a feeling I will be in the next couple weeks.

This is not like me to write a company to tell them how much I love their product, in fact I never have done it, but I have to let you know how happy you are making women.
I’m 31 and have been trying to find a good makeup my whole life. I had started using minerals in 2004 starting with BE (made me look oily in minutes), MAC (made me look orange), Avon (gave me a rash) I was on a mission to find a good make up. I found a company called After Glow that I almost tried, but then I found you, and my life is so much better because of it!
Your web site is awesome with all the information, the color choice is in incredible, and most of all I love that you make three types of formula’s. When I ordered I was not expecting to be this happy, I asked for two samples and gave one to my sister. She used it until it was gone and tried her BE again (because she had just bought it right before I gave her the sample) she wore it one day and sent me a email saying “that she just ordered your product, BE makes me look so washed out and painted on, holey crap what crap”. And I have to agree. Thank you for your hard work!
Next step for me I want to finish using my proactive and try your ONATI products (I still have not found something that I love for face wash) I just saw your media zone and was shocked at today’s post.
