To follow up on the changes being made to our Mineral Makeup and ONATI Skincare website, all of our upgrades are completed and the website is functioning to perfection. We are so happy to have all of that finished.
Our IT staff has placed hundreds of test orders to make sure we don’t experience any ordering glitches, and every order placed went through smoothly with no hiccups. We also listened to you when you asked about inputting your billing information twice……..once when registering and again when entering in your credit card info. That has been adjusted and now automatically populates with your billing information once “add a new card” is selected from the menu.
During checkout we have also removed the automatic population of the last credit card used, since this created confusion for some of you, thinking you had to use it rather than just selecting the card you wished to use from the drop down menu of available credit cards you have on file, which sometimes caused your orders to be declined. This window for selecting a new credit card, is just that, designed for adding a new card. Existing cards are now only provided as a choice from a drop down of any credit card you have on file with us, displaying only the last 4 digits and says “choose cc on file”.
You also mentioned that you experienced some confusion when adding a new credit card through your personal profiles and for your security you no longer will be able to edit your credit card information, only delete any card you have on file with us. If you look at your card all you will be able to see is the last 4 digits of your card with a “delete” option for removing your credit card if you do not wish to store it with us. Your three digit security code is still necessary for us to verify your credit card is in your possession and you will now be required to input your security code each and every time you place an order.
We have always appreciated customer feedback and your opinions do matter, and we try to implement your suggestions whenever possible.

We are just about done with all the technological upgrades being made to our mineral makeup and skincare website. For the most part the site will now remain active with fewer interruptions after an entire weekend of being down. It may still go back to site maintenance status during the middle of the night, but during our business hours, ordering your favorite mineral makeup or skincare product will be made available.

We wanted to inform our Sterling Minerals customers that for brief periods the cart function of our site maybe disabled at times. This means that you will not be able to LogIn or add any items to the cart but you can still browse and shop for what you want to purchase.

They Have Finally Arrived In Time For Spring
We are pleased to announce our lip colors are finally relaunched and available for purchase. You’ll love the new natural, organic formulas with a beautiful, revitalized, saturated palette of color.
Your lips will be treated to nourishing moisture all day long with every application. The texture is creamier than before and the colors are rich, fun and sophisticated.
The lipsticks provide a semi matte satin sheen to the lips while providing exceptional coverage. They create the perfect pout without feathering into fine lines and have nice staying power.
The Lip Shines are our “Lipstick in a Tube” with a new creamier formula to reduce feathering, and a higher level of color saturation, making coverage much nicer, using less product, and is less slippery on the lips. Perfect for layering over lipstick or a stand alone lip color for a lustrous dewy look without stickiness or goopy feel. We have also increased the amount you receive from 7 ml to 10 ml, along with adding an additional sheer nude with a hint of pink for those that just enjoy shine and therapeutic benefits of the organic oils and butters without color.
Our Lip Colors still remain gluten free and we have changed our natural flavoring from raspberry to a subtle hint of organic steam distilled tangerine.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to bring you up to date on our lipsticks and lip glazes.
Well they are all gone and we are now working on getting out the new formulas with a whole new color palette with improved color depth and staying power. We will also continue to offer our colors in the neutral palettes so that women of all skin tones can wear just about any shade they wish. We have even improved our lip glazes to have a thicker consistency with more intense color and some lovely shine. In fact, we would consider these more of a liquid lipstick rather than a true gloss or glaze.
We have also decided to be more generous with the amount of product in our liquid lipstick or glaze as some can refer to, making them more economical. Plus, depending on your preferences, the lipsticks will now be created to be semi matte, while the liquid lipsticks will have more shine and lubricity to the lips. Both formulas are moisturizing, but of course the liquid version will be all the more. And of course we will continue to provide them in natural ingredients, only far improved, in our humble opinion.
You can layer them, mix and match them as before, and we are staying in tune with the ideal of offering same color match in both formulas, with the addition of a lip therapy gloss with just a hint of sheer shimmer.
Our plan is to have these on line no later than spring. Research and Development is a real time consuming venture, but we are working diligently to get this done ASAP.

We regrettably must announce that due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had a difficult time getting our lip color bases that make up our formulas. In fact it has been ongoing for some time. We are now getting time frames out as far as a couple of months and this is just too long for us to maintain customer satisfaction. So unfortunately, these specific formulas will be discontinued, and we are definitely bummed out about it.
We have a limited supply of certain shades so enjoy them while supplies last….once they are gone, they are gone forever, and all lip colors will be suspended indefinitely, not discontinued. We are actively researching new sources so we may continue to offer Lip Colors in the future, and we’ll keep you posted.
So, if you have a favorite color, get it while you can. A couple of shades are still on SPECIAL and several are already SOLD OUT.
We appreciate your patience while we go through this transition and hopefully we will be able to provide improved formulas, new beautiful colors, staying power and moisture for the lips in the coming future.
As we have learned in life and business, when one door is closed, another will open, but the hallways in between are a time for patience.
We are also grateful in times like these, that we create our own mineral makeup formulas from our own selection of raw materials, whereby the reason we have never been out of stock on any of our mineral makeup formulas. We are after all, a mineral cosmetics company, hence the proud name of Sterling Minerals®. Now achieving just last month, Registered Trademark status of our brand.
Though we have enjoyed providing lip colors as a courtesy for women to be able to shop in one location, sometimes when we must rely on others for a formula we don’t manufacture ourselves, it creates the glitch we are now facing, so apologies for this shortfall in product. Our aspirations are high, however, and we believe we will improve our situation by seeking other vendors for our lip color formulas.

We are excited to announce the completion of our latest face lift to our website. Many of the little nuances are based yet again, on excellent customer feedback. Something which we find so important for keeping it easy and accessible for what our customers are looking for.
The primary changes right now are on our mineral makeup powders with skincare, brushes and lip colors to soon follow. We have finally created a layout of index pages to provide the overall description of our mineral makeup, including “Ingredients” and what our products “Do Not Contain” at a quick mouse roll over glance, with a separate page for choosing your best color.
Another nice feature is, we have also provided a Foundation Chart for quick and easy understanding of what category each shade falls into before needing to click through to see what shade may suit you best.
These have created nice time savers since we realized that some of our ladies were confused about our foundation formulas for their skin and could only see the ingredients of each formula with an actual click through to each individual shade, far removing the information from comparing formula choices.
We certainly hope you’ll enjoy the new changes and will find them more conducive to your needs for finding answers to the questions, what is in our products, what isn’t in our products and what is the best formula for you.
