Sterling Minerals has eliminated the need for returns since we offer inexpensive mineral makeup samples to see what works best for you in color, foundation formula and on performance for your skin type, without having to commit to a full size purchase of our exceptional minerals. There is no limit on samples during your trial period of discovering what shade is best. Trial periods are always recommended, especially for those with sensitive skin issues. Once you discover your best shade match and formula, you can easily transition to full size jars.
Sample limit restrictions will apply when purchasing multiples of same color or repeat orders of same shade instead of full size products beyond your trial period.
To Ensure You As The Customer Are Receiving The Highest Standards In Product Safety And Hygiene, We Do Not Accept Returns On These Items:
- Opened Full Size Mineral Makeup
- Face Towels
- Opened Lip Colors
- Opened Mascara
Please use mineral makeup samples for product testing since full sized products once opened, cannot be returned. Review ingredient lists provided with every product description before ordering to make sure a particular ingredient does not cause you concern.
Sales are FINAL on Promos, Specials and Sale Items. Some exceptions to our return policy do apply. Please see SHIPPING POLICIES for receiving damaged or defective merchandise.
INCORRECT OR MISSING ITEM
Our Order Error: Please notify us within 24 hours of RECEIPT date of your package and we will either issue a credit on account for any missing FULL size item for reorder or will reship. (Sample order errors are credited on account only for future purchases)
In the event we sent an incorrect item we will issue a Printable RETURN LABEL via email. Once item is received, we will issue a corrected exchange. (Please enclose a copy of your shipping and item receipt with your return shipment) Please make sure the items you wish to return fall under the terms of UNDAMAGED / UNOPENED ITEM RETURNS.
Customer Order Error: If you should order something by mistake, please let us know so me may assist you. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay any shipping, handling and / or any processing fees for the return / exchange to have the error corrected. Please see PROCESSING POLICIES FOR ALL RETURNS.
UNDAMAGED / UNOPENED ITEM RETURN
Any incorrect products will need to be returned in original unopened condition, so please check invoice against items in package before removing any tamper resistant seals or opening of exterior packaging, since once opened we cannot exchange for the correct product. Name, color, formula and ingredients are visible on all packaging. The cost of return and replacement shipping on any return or exchange not due to our incorrect selection or a defective item, will need to be covered by you.
POLICY FOR QUALIFIED MERCHANDISE RETURNS
What Does Qualify For A Return:
- Any Unopened Full Size Minerals, Lip Colors, Or Mascara
- Items Are Returned Before 30 Days From Date Of Purchase
- Items That Receive Prior Approval Only (we cannot guarantee a credit, exchange or refund without it)
- Return Merchandise Authorization Number On Package (If missing from label, unfortunately order will be disposed of without further notice)
- Items Are Received At Our Facility Within 10 Business Days From When Your Authorization Is Provided
- Important Note: Non Return Of Items Within the 10 Days Will Be Considered Abandoned And The RMA Will Be Voided
SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RETURN
Items Returned To Include Reasons Of But Not Limited To:
- Package Refusal
- Buyer Remorse
- Incorrect Address
- Gift Certificate Purchase
If any of the 1-5 issues occurred with your purchase, a 20% RESTOCK / PROCESSING FEE, and any and all Domestic Shipping and Handling charges assessed against Sterling Minerals by USPS will be applied against the original purchase and remaining credits will either be refunded to the original form of payment OR placed on your account toward a future purchase, depending upon reason for the return. Gift Certificate returns are for exchange only or a credit will be placed on your customer account. All credits placed on account are required to be used within 1 year of original purchase date.
International Return Policies same as domestic, including additionally non payment of taxes or duties as reason for return, will have a 30% RESTOCK / PROCESSING FEE and all other charges assessed will be deducted from the purchase refund.
FREE SHIPPING, REDUCED INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, DISCOUNTS OR FREE GIFTS WITH PURCHASE
With your authorized return, please be aware “FREE GIFT WITH PURCHASE PROMOTIONS” or "SPECIAL DISCOUNTS" specify that a minimum order amount was needed to qualify. Due to the returned items, the original purchase total may now be below the amount for which the offer was qualified. If this should happen, any free shipping, reduced international shipping, discounted purchase or free gift included with original purchase offer, the full retail values of these offers will be assessed against the returned items and be deducted from the remaining credit.
RETURN DUE TO INCORRECT ADDRESS
A non-delivered package occurs when the incorrect shipping address is entered at checkout. These returns are processed immediately once we receive them. We will notify you by email and a credit will be placed on your account less our shipping expense and a restock / processing fee of 20% which you may use toward a future / replacement purchase. In the event non-delivery occurred due to our error, your package will be reshipped at our expense with our apologies.
PROCESSING POLICIES FOR ALL RETURNS
What You'll Need To Complete This Process:
- Please Place Return Merchandise Number On Exterior Of Package
- Return Using USPS, Insured (Tracking Recommended) Loss or Damage: we will be unable to exchange, credit or refund for those items
- Enclose Your Receipt With Items, Including Reason For Return
- Please Make Sure All Items Returned Are In Unused, Unopened, Original Condition
Once these criteria have been met and we receive your return, we will notify you of receipt of item(s), then you can expect a 2 to 7 business day time frame for processing your return. After inspection of your returned items and they are determined to be in their original condition, then an exchange, credit to your personal account, or refund to the original form of payment will be issued, depending on the reason for the return as outlined in our return policies.
