    One of my favorite blushes

Posted by Angela P on 29th Jul 2017

This blush is best for those with darker complexions. Many blushes are too light for me and I must use a lot just to see them on my skin, but not this one. I love the intensity of this color and that very little is needed to show up on my medium dark yellow olive skin tone. This blush is highly pigmented. Out of all of the blush samples that I have tried this is by far my favorite. The wine color is gorgeous.

Love this color after trying the others that were maybe too light right out of the box for me.

    Great Intensity

Posted by Roseann on 5th Feb 2014

Wonderful color with lots of depth. I am very fair olive, but I have found that I need blush colors that have lots of pigment or else it just disappears into my skin and I look sallow.

Love this color...wish there was one with a little more blue/red tone.

    OUR RESPONSE

Roseann we saw your lovely reviews on many of our other products and noticed this reference to having a blush shade that would possess more blue red than our Cerise. You may wish to try Indigo by itself or mix the two for your own unique shade. This can bump it just a bit to the blue / red tone you are seeking. We very much appreciate the feedback and hope this tip helps.

    Rosy cheeks

Again, a little too dark for me, but I can fix that. Thanks.

    OUR RESPONSE

Thanks Gloria for letting us know you discovered how easy it is to work with our mineral makeup. Yes Cerise is a gorgeous shade. Using just a touch and then going over again with your foundation works wonders for softening any shade that may have gotten too intense. Everything minerals is always fixable. We are happy you are enjoying your mineral makeup.

    Love this shade!

I have been using Sterling Minerals for a few years now, and have been so happy with the foundations and blushes. I had previously tried a couple of the lighter shades of blush, but was wanting something a little darker. This shade looks pretty dark in the picture, but the color is beautiful and can be applied lightly. I am a light-skinned Latina with yellow undertones, so I can look pretty pale in the winter, and fairly dark in the summer. This shade has great versatility because it looks good applied lightly on my skin now, but I can tell I will be able to wear it in the summer a little heavier when I am tan. My new favorite shade!
