The shade is lovely however it is difficult to apply and doesn't go on without making a mess. When I used another shade and tried to blend like I do with traditional eye shadow the colors blended and made an entirely different color. Also the price for the sample is the same as for the foundation and I was disappointed that I got so much less in the container. I felt a little cheated but I won't be ordering it again anyway.
Thanks Ellen for the feedback. Loading the brush can cause this problem and excess should be tapped off. If you need more color for it to be intense, spritzing the brush with water or on the eyelid will create excellent adherence. The eyeshadow samples are designed to offer enough to apply for several days or longer depending on technique. Foundation samples are larger due to the area of the face they need to cover. Eyes are smaller so they will contain less. Samples vary in size, but the cost of the containers, labor and formulation remain identical. Hope this explains better why sizes in samples will vary depending on the location of the face.
