Mineral Makeup Foundation - Hannah Shade

Unfortunately the color is too olive for me. After a day of soaking in to my skin I end up with a greenish cast to my face. Clearly not the right shade for me.

Nina, we are very happy you are enjoying our products overall. Finding undertones can be frustrating at times. Olive undertones are a skin tone in particular that requires the match to be true. If someone is not actually a true Olive this is exactly what will occur if using an olive shade. I started using this product about 3 yrs ago. I was desperately searching for a mineral makeup. I had tried every one I could find, even the high end ones. None worked on my extremely sensitive acne prone skin, so I was skeptical but determined. I had heard mineral make up was the best but I was learning, all mineral makeups are not equal! This product changed my life! My skin looks the best it has looked in years, acne is gone, unless I go without wearing my makeup a few days and then it will break out a little. It is so soothing to my sensitive skin as well. I will never use another makeup.

I LOVE this foundation! The way it goes on so smooth and even is wonderful and it doesn’t take much to get good coverage. I have quite red cheeks and nose from rosacea, and this foundation calms the redness. When I wear this foundation, you would never know I had rosacea. I haven’t seen my skin look this pretty since I was a very little girl. And it feels so silky and smooth. I have mature skin, and this is the best mineral foundation I have tried. I use just a tiny bit, and the results are amazing. The Hannah color is perfect for my fair olive skin. It’s not easy to find a good color match for my skin tone so I’m thrilled. This is the perfect summer color to make me look nice and healthy. Applied moist method, it’s a nice lightly tanned color on me. Mixed with moisturizer, it’s a lighter, brighter shade with the same olive undertones, so I can adjust the color as I tan or fade.

LOVE Sterling! And Hannah is my perfect color, which I can darken as needed for summer months (though I think just adding some bronzer to my face will do the trick.) I never would have tried Hannah if not for the great customer service at Sterling. I emailed and described my skin tones and problems I have had with other colors. The person helping me suggested I try Hannah (along with other samples) and the color is PERFECT!

As for the makeup itself, it is fantastic. I have extremely sensitive, acne prone skin. I thought I was done with mica forever. But I gave Sterling a shot and the formula is everything they claim it to be. My skin has remained healthy, radiant, and no breakouts! And it does not dry my skin out or accentuate wrinkles like other mineral makeups can do.

The dewy formula coverage is light, but buildable. Now that the hyperpigmentation from old acne is fading, I can apply the foundation more lightly - it is totally customizable. My skin looks so good that I am finally getting to the point where my natural skin looks almost as good as my skin after applying the foundation - this is a first for me.

I could not be more thrilled that I found this brand - I only wish I had discovered it years ago.
